"It’s been not easy to finish 11 tracks between so many I have written in through the years! Than it come along, the liquid linking element that ties these new songs together, whether is water, tears, sea, whiskey, rain, blood, amniotic fluid. The lyrics are about timeless topics, unfortunately with a social, eco-political, or personal politics background. I am still very angry, civilly speaking, like all of us after all, forced to live in a society that no longer holds the confrontation with human reality. It’s not a genres project, even if the “blues” comes out from every pore; this is mostly a sound that I have matured "on the road" and in my dreams. So, despite my increasingly heavy musical background, I never abandon the spirit of research! NU 'Awlins and Louisiana sound in my veins as you can feel especially in the song“Emergency”, and Mississippi reverb in the industrial delta blues“Message in the Bottleneck”, the post human electro slide “Pacific Trash Vortex”, just to to throw up my indigestion about earth de-sea-se. “Danubio Blues” is an erotic game sublimated in music, which atones for his guilt in the soulful ballad “Post Partum Blues”. There’s not enough space for such as a love song in a traditional way, so it is “White Lies” in its delicious retro formula. “Bottom of glass” is a devotion song to alcoholism, a little self-destructive taste thatgoes to regenerate in the etheric worldof “Heaven Pie”. At last but not least, we got special overdubbing vocals by Sister Bianka on “Heart in mInd” , my stage companion for lifetime, and my friend Dom Pimkin, excellent Louisiana styled piano player on “Barbecue Blues”, even if I bet he’s not a vegan! I had real fun playing live at Rubedo Recordings Studio in Torino with a totally new band (Manuel Volpe on bass guitar, Simone Pozzi on drums, Nicola Meloni on keyboards) led by the extravagant producer Carlo Barbagallo.New formula to keep the right freshness and groove. Elaine Carmen Bonsanguegave shape to all my feelings and emotions, creating the fabulous GuitArt showed in the cover. A little shape of art is always a miracle!"
